Museum of Communism – Prague

I love a museum – about just about anything. This one was appropriately old-school and shabby, & kind of creepy and empty… One room was a display of an interrogation room from back in the day – there were files on the desk and a telephone that rang endlessly – it was quite haunting.  Was drawn in by the posters I saw around town, such as above, and others which advertise it as ‘Upstairs from McDonald’s, Next to the Casino’ oh the irony…  Karl Marx must be turning in his grave?

& the only real mention (in the museum) of the wonderful Vaclav Havel was this humble photo of him holding a bag of potatoes…
